Neil, I have a neighbor here in Fredericksburg who wants to buy a Ghia, and yours looks pretty nice. If you are really interested in selling it, how much are you looking for? Is the car from California? You have my email, let me know - Jon

Dale, welcome to the group! I'm Kerry Rump, organizer. We may have to change the name to Karmann Ghia Meetup since most of us have them. With Summer here it's the time to work on our cars! I'll check the calander to see when a good time schedule our next meetup so we can all meet. Kerry

Hey Dale! I too always liked Ghias and finally got mine about a year ago, have been slowly working it since. Kerry and I know how to do the windshield replacement, mine came out great after a couple practice attempts. Maybe you've found oout, but post 67 Ghia windshields are hard to find. The guy I got mine from in Portsmouth knows a guy in N. Carolina that has a few stashed away, he is thinking about buying them all - maybe we can each pick up one - I'd like to have a spare. - Jon

Neil, nice ghia! Welcome to the group. I'm Kerry Rump, organizer. I really don't know of anyone I can recomend to do your engine since we pretty much do all our own work. Check out the pictures of my engine on the site. I just got it done a few weeks ago. If you have the time and the parts we could probably work something out on a weekend. Let me know. and once again welcome to the group. Kerry

Hi Kerry, If you do get down to the Parkway stop on by in Danville Va to our cruise in. It is every 2nd Saturday at Mama Possum's Restarant off Arnett Blvd. No Bugs or Ghias have shown up there that I can remember. I usually take my 56 Ford. As soon as my bug is ready my mom plans to drive it along with me. She really like Bugs. She claims my Bug so I consider it hers too.

Hi Jon, I hope to get to join you all soon. My bug should be finished up in a week or so. The paint is fair on it but I would like to get it painted soon. Maybe the IRS tax check would help with that, LOL. Yes the cars at the website are mine except for the 57 Tbird. It belongs to my dad. Cheryl
